Shooting Leaves One Hospitalized in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A gunshot detection alert led Winston-Salem Police Officers to a residence on Cameron Avenue on Friday, just past midnight. As they approached the scene, a report of a shooting was confirmed.

Inside the residence, they found a victim, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to both legs. The unidentified individual was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to recover from their injuries.

The Winston-Salem Police Department believe this was an isolated incident and currently, no suspect information is available.
