Additional Suspect Identified in 2021 Homicide Case

PITCAIRN, PA – Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit have recently identified 21-year-old Finel Javon Thompson of Wall Borough as an additional suspect in the homicide of 20-year-old Kaliq Dade. The crime occurred on August 20, 2021, on the 100 block of Center Avenue in Pitcairn.

On that day, police responded to reports of gunshots and discovered Dade shot inside a vehicle. He passed away while being transported to a hospital. Thompson is currently in the Allegheny County Jail on unrelated charges, but now faces charges of criminal homicide, tampering with evidence, recklessly endangering another person, and firearm violations.

Jonathan Dawson, another suspect linked to the crime, is also in Allegheny County Jail awaiting trial on criminal conspiracy and homicide charges. Police are still looking to identify two additional suspects involved in the case.
