QUEENS, NY – Chaz McMillan, a 21-year-old resident of Fresh Meadows, was sentenced on Saturday to five and a half years in prison for possessing a cache of illegal weapons, including ghost guns and large-capacity magazines, at his home.

Following his prison term, McMillan will be under post-release supervision for five years.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that McMillan pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in the first degree in April.

A search warrant executed on December 8, 2021, led to the discovery of an arsenal including 20 ghost guns, 31 large-capacity magazines, parts for various semi-automatic rifles, and approximately 670 rounds of ammunition of various calibers.
