Bronx Man Arrested for Unsolved May Murder

BRONX, NY – A 49-year-old Bronx man, Arkym Davis, was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated harassment, and harassment on Saturday, May 27, by the 46th Police Department.

The arrest follows a 911 call made on Sunday, May 21, around 8:50 pm, reporting a male assaulted at 2200 Grand Concourse.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 62-year-old male with head trauma. The victim, identified as Jose Morillo of 1880 Valentine Avenue, Bronx, was transported by EMS to BronxCare Health System, where he was pronounced deceased on Monday, June 5. The incident has since been deemed a homicide by the 46th Police Department. Investigations are ongoing.
