Double Shooting in Southeast D.C. Leaves Two Men Injured

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two men were injured in a shooting that took place Saturday night in Southeast, D.C. Detectives fromThe Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are investigating the shooting

Shortly before 10:30 p.m., police arrived at Independence Avenue close to 15th Street. At the location, officers discovered two men, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were both taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and were breathing and alert.

The current condition and identity of the victims have not been released at this time.
