NYPD seeks suspects in Yankee Stadium subway station attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The NYPD is asking the public to help locate and identify two suspects wanted for subway station attack near Yankee Stadium.

On Saturday, May 6, a 49-year-old male was involved in a dispute with two unknown individuals at the 161 Street- Yankee Stadium subway station. The male was punched multiple times in the face, causing him to lose consciousness.

The individuals were last seen fleeing into the station, the victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Lincoln in stable condition.

Both suspects are described as males with a medium complexion, slim build, approximately 5’8” tall, and around 30 to 40-years-old. The New York City Police Department requests public assistance to identify the assailants involved in the assault. Investigations continue.
