Police follow blood trail to find 33-year-old shot dead in Queens

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department responded to a distress call early Sunday morning, around 12:20 am. The call led them to 31 Avenue and Hobart Street in Queens.

When officers arrived, they discovered traces of blood at the scene.

The victim, a 33-year-old male, was privately transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst and was later pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until the family is notified. Currently, there are no arrests, and the police department is actively investigating the incident.
