Man Hospitalized After Shooting in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was shot in the arm early Sunday morning in Southeast D.C. The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Detectives are investigating the shooting.

Just after 6 am, officers arrived at the intersection of Good Hope Road and Alabama Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting. Police found a man with a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and was conscious and breathing. He is expected to survive.

Police announced that the suspect’s vehicle was also stopped at the location. No further information is available at this time.
