Mount Joy Woman Arrested on Aggravated Assault and Drug Charges

MOUNT JOY, PA – Alicia M. Hood, a 29-year-old resident of Mount Joy, was charged on Saturday with Aggravated Assault and three drug-related offenses. The charges stemmed from an incident that took place on the 500 block of Union School Road in Mount Joy Borough.

Hood was found in possession of 6 acid tablets, methamphetamine, and a large pipe used for consuming methamphetamine. She is also accused of punching an officer in the face during her arrest. The charges against her include two counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance by a Person Not Registered, and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mount Joy Police Department is conducting the investigation into the case and is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
