Road Rage Incident on I-95 Leads to Shooting, Victim Found at Local Gas Station

PROSPECT PARK, PA – A late-night dispute on I-95 resulted in a shooting incident, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police. The event occurred around 10 p.m. last Sunday near mile marker 12, the Philadelphia International Airport exit, as two drivers were heading south.

According to State Police, both drivers exited their vehicles and engaged in a physical altercation. Amidst the altercation, one driver brandished a firearm and shot the other.

The victim, a man in his 50s, managed to reach his car post shooting and drove himself to a Sunoco gas station on the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue in Prospect Park where he dialed 911. Upon arrival, troopers found the man with a gunshot wound on his backside. His current medical condition remains undisclosed.

At present, no description of the shooter has been made available.
