Waffle House Shooting in Laurinburg Injures Two

LAURINBURG, N.C. – A pre-dawn confrontation at a local Waffle House resulted in two injuries due to gunfire, according to Captain Chris Young from the Laurinburg Police Department. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m. last Sunday in the restaurant’s parking lot.

Young noted that two groups of people exchanged gunfire, leading to two individuals being injured. One has since been discharged from the hospital, while the other continues to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
