Linden Police Investigate Motor Vehicle Crash and Reported Shooting

LINDEN, NJ – On Monday, at about 3:30 p.m., Linden Police officers were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Wood Ave near Melrose Terr.

Initial reports indicate that the vehicle hit a parked car before colliding with another vehicle traveling north on N. Wood Ave.

The driver claimed that unknown individuals were shooting at his vehicle at the time of the crash, a statement supported by the discovery of shell casings in the vicinity.

No injuries were reported.
