GAITHERSBURG, MD- Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police’s Special Victims Investigations Division are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Ruth Ochoa, a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Silver Spring.
Ruth was last seen at her residence on Gateshead Manor Way in Silver Spring on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, around 7 p.m. Both law enforcement and her family are deeply concerned about her welfare and are reaching out to the community for any information that may lead to her whereabouts.
Described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, Ruth has distinctive features such as brown eyes and brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black book bag.
