NEW YORK, NY – A crash on the BQE led to a violent assault in Brooklyn last week. On June 20, occupants of two vehicles involved in a crash near the Atlantic Avenue exit began fighting.

A person involved in a car crash on the westbound lanes of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway just prior to the Atlantic Avenue exit, became the victim of an assault after the crash.

After the parties exited their vehicles, one became hostile and began attacking the other, punching and kicking him before throwing him to the ground.

Police responded. The victim suffered minor injuries. It is unknown whether or not charges have been filed against the attacker or what caused the crash.
