NEWARK, NJ – A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Howard Seeley, 51, of Newark, in connection to a burglary that took place between Friday, June 23, and last Monday.

Police responded to a residential building on the 700 block of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard following a reported burglary. Staff returning from the weekend discovered a basement break-in, with several items, including electrical tools, a Stingray 5-Speed blue bicycle, and custom bike parts, missing.

Detectives identified Seeley as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé asked anyone with information regarding Seeley’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
