BOSTON, MA – On Thursday evening, officers from the District D-4 Anti-Crime Unit responded to a report of a person with a gun at 42 Harrison Archway. Asiyaa Clemons, 18, and Khalil Yusuff, 32, both from Roxbury, were arrested at the scene.

On arrival, officers spotted a group of individuals, including a suspect matching the description they were given. Upon seeing the officers, the group started to sprint away, discarding a fanny pack. Following a foot pursuit, both suspects were taken into custody.

A firearm, identified as a Taurus G2C with one round in the chamber and 16 rounds in the magazine, was found in the discarded fanny pack with the help of the K-9 Unit. Both Clemons and Yusuff face charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, a large-capacity feeding device, and assault by means of a dangerous weapon. They are due to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
