Juvenile killed in Hatfield crash

HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – On Wednesday, at around 9:31 pm, the Hatfield Township Police Department rushed to the intersection of Bethlehem Pike and Walnut Street following reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

The incident involved a 2023 Hyundai Sonata, moving northbound on Bethlehem Pike, and a juvenile male.

The boy attempted to cross Bethlehem Pike amidst moving traffic and was struck by the vehicle. He was swiftly transported to a local hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.

The Hatfield Township Police Department’s Highway Safety Unit is continuing its investigation into the incident.
