Package Thief Caught On Camera

NEWARK, NJ – Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a man caught on camera in connection with a package theft that took place on June 20.

According to the victim’s report, a package valued at $3,000 containing clothing and other items was stolen from her home on the 500 block of South 19th Street around 1 p.m.

Surveillance footage captured a man, believed to be in his mid-thirties, traversing a neighbor’s front yard and taking the large package. The suspect is a black male who was seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and red and white sneakers.
