Pedestrian struck and killed in Dundalk Friday night

Dundalk, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department is currently investigating a tragic pedestrian crash that occurred on Friday at approximately 9:50 p.m. The incident took place near the intersection of Merritt Boulevard and Rabon Avenue. According to the initial findings by the Baltimore County Crash Team, 60-year-old Robert Bryden was struck by a 2011 Acura MDX while attempting to cross Merritt Boulevard. The Acura was traveling northbound at the time of the incident. Tragically, medics pronounced Mr. Bryden deceased at the scene. The driver of the Acura remained present and cooperated with authorities.

The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. The investigation aims to gather additional details and establish a comprehensive understanding of the events leading up to the pedestrian crash.
