Restaurant check ditchers had guns when caught by police

BOSTON, MA – Boston Police arrested two men, James Cirafice, 20, of Hanover and Ian Woodward, 23, of Marshfield, for firearm possession and larceny on Friday.

Officers responded to a reported theft in progress at 283 Washington Street. Upon arrival, the officers identified the suspects eating at the restaurant where the theft was reported. A subsequent search of a backpack belonging to the suspects yielded a Polymer 80 P80 Glock 17 style “Ghost Gun.”

Cirafice is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Larceny from a Building, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D. Meanwhile, Woodward, who had three active warrants for his arrest, is also scheduled for arraignment in Boston Municipal Court.
