Anti-LGBTQIA+ Incident Reported on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An unknown individual is sought in connection with an aggravated harassment incident that occurred on a southbound MTA 7 train on Friday.

At approximately 7:00 pm, the unidentified individual made an Anti-LGBTQIA+ remark to a 46-year-old male victim before slapping his hand. The victim exited the train after the incident and did not require medical attention.

The individual is described as approximately 5’9” in height, of medium complexion, last seen wearing blue jeans, a shirt, and white sneakers. The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify and locate the individual involved.
