Man in Wheelchair Critically Injured in North Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Early on Sunday morning, a man in his 50s was found critically injured near 8th and Spring Garden streets in North Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Police Department reports that the victim, who uses a wheelchair, was shot multiple times around 5 a.m.

Medics transported him to Jefferson Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.

His name was not released. No suspects have been identified.
