Man Survives Early Monday Shooting in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT – In the early hours of Monday, Hartford Police Department officers came across a man in his 40s suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers encountered the injured man around 3:15 a.m.

The man, who remains unidentified, was taken to St. Francis Hospital. Upon examination, medical professionals confirmed his injuries as non-life-threatening and reported him to be in stable condition.

Investigators from the Hartford Police Department have determined the shooting occurred on the 600 block of Wethersfield Avenue. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the HPD Tip Line at (860) 722-TIPS.
