Four Teens Injured in Shooting Incident at Akron Party

AKRON, OH – Early Tuesday, a violent incident broke out at a party in a parking lot on East Exchange Street. Akron Police reported that four teenagers were injured in a shooting that took place just after midnight.

Upon arrival, officers noted a large crowd and several individuals fleeing the scene. The victims, three females aged between 17 and 18, and a 19-year-old male, initially mistook the gunfire for fireworks. All four were transported to local hospitals for treatment; none of the injuries were classified as life-threatening.

No suspects have been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
