Trenton Man Charged in Connection with Deadly Shooting

TRENTON, NJ – Jeremy Ratliff, a 29-year-old man from Trenton, has been charged with first-degree murder and second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, following a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday.

At approximately 10:19 pm, the Trenton Police Department received a call reporting gunshots fired at 301 Hills Place. Officers found a female victim, identified as Precious Saunders, 32, from Trenton, with multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center but was pronounced dead at 11:05 pm.

Ratliff was taken into custody in the vicinity of the Trenton Transit Center at 72 South Clinton Avenue at around 10:46 pm on an aggravated assault warrant. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is handling the ongoing investigation.
