Dundalk Shooting Leads to Arrest

DUNDALK, MD – On Tuesday, the Baltimore County Police Department charged Jose Bautista, 39, with first and second-degree assault, and firearms-related charges in connection with a non-fatal shooting.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 a.m., in the 7500 block of Belmont Avenue, where a male juvenile was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives believe this incident stems from a vehicle theft.

Bautista is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond. As the investigation continues, Baltimore County Police Department is asking anyone with information related to the case to reach out.
