Nine Shot In Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police NIBIN Investigations Unit requests the public’s help in identifying a vehicle linked to a shooting early yesterday morning at the 4700 block of Meade Street in Northeast D.C. The shooting left nine people injured.

Shortly before 1 am, police arrived at the reported location to investigate a shooting report. Upon their arrival, officers and detectives discovered a total of nine individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds. Among the victims were two juveniles. Fortunately, all the victims received medical attention at nearby hospitals for their non-life-threatening injuries.


The surveillance cameras have captured images of the suspect’s vehicle, which is believed to be a blue Hyundai Tucson with DC tags GC5338. This case remains under investigation.
