Separate Shootings in Winston-Salem Leave Two Wounded

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Winston-Salem Police Department responded to two separate shooting incidents overnight Tuesday, resulting in two individuals wounded.

The first incident took place in the 1400 block of North Main Street where Sylvia Renea McKeller, 51, was found in a front yard with a gunshot wound to her chest. She was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The second incident occurred early Wednesday in the 1300 block of Creekshire Way, where Alexis Javon Robinson, 24, was treated for a gunshot wound to her arm. In the course of the investigation, officers apprehended Kyler Amari Wagner, 21, charging her with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury. Wagner is currently held in the Forsyth County Jail with a bond set at $100,000. The Winston-Salem Police Department has recovered the firearm used in the shooting and is continuing the investigation.
