Barnegat Police Seek Vehicles in Hit and Run

BARNEGAT, NJ – The local law enforcement agency is seeking help in identifying two vehicles linked to a hit and run accident that occurred in the vicinity of 16 David Dr on Sunday, June 26, around 9:40pm.

The first vehicle, potentially a dark-colored Lexus IS250 or Toyota Camry, reportedly hit a parked vehicle and fled towards Heather Way. Approximately 35 minutes later, a second, lighter-colored vehicle arrived at the scene, inspected the damage, and left the area.

The first vehicle is expected to have sustained damage to its front bumper and passenger side, along with white paint transfer due to the impact. Anyone with information about these vehicles is encouraged to contact the local law enforcement agency.
