NEWARK, N.J. – Enna Gonzalez, 58, and her husband, Jean Noriega, 52, both residents of Paterson, New Jersey, have received prison sentences for their involvement in a sex trafficking scheme. U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger made the announcement on July 6.

Gonzalez was sentenced to four years in prison and five years of supervised release, having pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

Her husband, Noriega, received a 20-year prison sentence and five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the same charge, involving six different victims. Noriega had used violence, threats, and other means to coerce the victims into commercial sex acts for profit, a scheme in which Gonzalez also participated.
