Water main break forces road closures in West New York

WEST NEW YORK, NJ – A severe water main break has occurred at the intersection of 60th Street and Bergenline Avenue in West New York, according to a post by the West New York Police on Facebook.

As a result, several streets in the vicinity have been closed to vehicular traffic, including 59th to 61st Streets on Bergenline Avenue (north and south), 60th Street and Van Buren Place (eastbound traffic diverted), and 60th Street and Palisade Avenue (westbound traffic diverted).

There is also limited foot traffic in the area, and commuters are advised to plan accordingly and expect delays if driving into the affected area.
