Buffalo Man Pleads Guilty to Assaulting Female Counselor

BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced on Friday, that Bilal C. Wright, 45, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty to all charges in the three indictments against him.

The charges stem from an incident on March 8, 2022, at approximately 2:36 p.m. when Wright attacked a counselor at a human services center on Main Street in Buffalo, resulting in physical injuries to the victim. Wright was also charged for assaulting a female employee in the stairwell after leaving the counselor’s office.

Wright also pleaded guilty to two incidents of assaulting Erie County Sheriff’s Office jail deputies while in custody at the Erie County Holding Center on April 1, 2022, and January 27.
