Fugitive Brothers Charged in Italian Village Homicide

COLUMBUS, OH – Micheal Mickens and Michael Mickens Jr. have been charged with murder in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man, Isiaha Thompson-Angus, in the Italian Village. The Columbus Police Department has issued a warrant for their arrest following the incident on June 19.

Police officers were called to the scene in the 900 block of N. 4th St. after a passerby reported finding a man’s body near the dumpsters in the back parking lot of a business. On arrival, officers discovered Thompson-Angus, suffering from a gunshot wound and declared him dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives have found that Thompson-Angus was shot during a fight with both suspects during the early morning hours. The Columbus Police Homicide Bureau can be reached at (614) 645-4730 with any information regarding the whereabouts of either suspect.
