Garnerville Man arrested in Online Predator Sting

GARNERVILLE, NY – Victor Peraino, a 35-year-old Garnerville resident, has been apprehended by the Stony Point Police Department and the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office.

Last Thursday, Peraino was charged with Attempted Dissemination of Indecent Material to a Minor in the 1st degree, following online exchanges with an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl.

During their conversations, Peraino repeatedly sent explicit videos and photos of himself.

The arrest was made on June 15, at a predetermined meeting location set by Peraino with the aim of engaging in sexual activities. He was processed, arraigned, and released after posting a cash bail of $1,000. Peraino is due in Stony Point Justice Court on August 22, at 1:00PM.
