Mob with Knives Chases, Stabs Man on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A call for public assistance has been made by the New York City Police Department to locate five individuals related to an assault incident.

The event occurred on Tuesday, July 4, at approximately 3:00 am, on a northbound MTA ‘2’ train, at the 116 Street/Lenox Avenue station.

A 29-year-old male victim was approached by the group, one of whom slapped him. When the victim confronted them, one displayed a knife and threatened him. The group then chased and stabbed the victim in the upper arm before fleeing north on Lenox Avenue.

The victim later sought treatment at a local hospital.
