Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Blair County Worth $150k

Pile of money.

HOLLIDAYSBURG, PA – A lucky winner in Blair County is celebrating after purchasing a Powerball ticket worth a remarkable $150,000 for the drawing held on Wednesday, July 12.

The ticket, sold at Sheetz located at 1100 Blair St. in Hollidaysburg, matched four of the five white balls drawn (23-35-45-66-67) and the red Powerball number (20), securing the six-figure prize. The $1 Power Play option selected by the winner boosted the winnings, which would have otherwise amounted to $50,000. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was three.

Sheetz, the retailer responsible for selling the winning ticket, will also receive recognition for their contribution, earning a $500 bonus.

It is important to note that winners are only confirmed once they claim their prizes and their tickets are validated. Powerball winners in Pennsylvania have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. For tickets purchased at a physical Lottery retailer, it is advised to sign the back of the ticket immediately.
