Elderly Woman Victim of Purse Snatching At Kew Gardens Train Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Sunday, at approximately 5:30 pm, the New York City Police Department reports a case of grand larceny at the MTA Union Turnpike-Kew Gardens train station.

An unknown individual took a wallet from a 69-year-old woman at the mezzanine level of the station.

The wallet contained an undisclosed amount of cash as well as credit/debit cards. The individual then exited the station. The woman did not sustain any injuries. The police seek the public’s assistance in identifying the perpetrator.
