Police Respond to Reports of Gunfire in Clifton

CLIFTON, NJ – Wednesday evening, the Clifton Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near Van Houten Avenue and Wonham Street in Clifton. Officers from the department arrived on the scene at around 9:00 PM and confirmed a potential crime scene. Shots struck a nearby Dunkin Donuts.

No victims were found at the location.

The investigation, which the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is carrying out in conjunction with the Clifton Police Detective Bureau, is still underway.
