Elderly Woman Had $30k in Envelope When She Was robbed After Accepting Ride Home

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying two unknown females involved in a grand larceny incident. On Thursday, June 15, around 2:30 pm, a 74-year-old female was approached by two unidentified females near 823 Utica Avenue.

They offered to drive the woman home, which she accepted. However, the suspects fled with an envelope containing $30,000 of the victim’s money. The victim was not physically harmed. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Police Department.
