Man Slashed and Robbed in Queens Subway Station

QUEENS, NY – The New York City Police Department is calling for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in an assault at the Court Square MTA ‘G’ train station. On Friday, June 30, at approximately 7:00 pm, a 41-year old man was reportedly attacked by an unknown individual.

The suspect, described as a roughly 35-year-old male with a dark complexion and standing approximately 6’0” tall, allegedly struck the victim in the head with a towel. This resulted in a laceration to the victim’s head. The attacker then fled the scene, boarding a Queens-bound ‘7’ train.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark-colored cargo pants, a black hat, and was holding a white towel. The police are asking anyone with information to assist in the ongoing investigation.
