Robbery Suspects Arrested in Monmouth County

Two sets of handcuffs.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – On Thursday, Monmouth County detectives, acting on information regarding two robbery suspects, coordinated with the Patrol Division to apprehend the individuals.

At approximately 5:00 p.m., Ptl. Cleaves identified and arrested Ryan Nevins, of Aberdeen Township, without incident.

Subsequent to Nevins’s arrest, detectives acquired information about the second suspect’s location.

Working in conjunction with Marlboro Township Police, detectives located and arrested Marcel Vonn in Marlboro Township, again without incident. Both suspects were transported to Monmouth Country Correctional Institution.

Police have repeatedly cautioned of increases in car thefts and commercial burglaries at the Jersey Shore in recent weeks.

Police did not give details of the robberies in this matter.
