Woman robbed in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating an individual associated with a robbery incident. The incident occurred on Friday, July 7, at approximately 12:45 pm in front of 1401 Plaza Drive.

According to reports, an unknown person approached a 24-year-old woman, demanding her belongings. The suspect then forcefully removed a chain from the woman’s neck. He attempted to take her purse but was unsuccessful and fled northbound on Inwood Avenue.

The woman was unharmed. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
