27-Year-Old Shot Dead in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 27-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the 6100 block of 3rd Street.

According to the DC Metro Police Department, at approximately 12:08 am, officers from the Fourth District responded to a call regarding a man found injured in the specified location.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered an adult male victim with gunshot wounds in front of the mentioned address.

Emergency Medical Services from DC Fire and Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene. However, after assessing the victim’s condition, they pronounced him dead.

The victim’s body was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The deceased individual has been identified as 27-year-old Dzhoy Zuckerman, a resident of Northwest, DC.
