Headphone Snatcher Ran Off Bus, Sought by Police

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is currently seeking assistance from the public in identifying an individual wanted for stealing headphones and fleeing an MTA bus.

The incident was reported to have occurred on Thursday, June 1, at approximately 9:30 pm. On Saturday, the NYPD released a photo of the headphone fugitive.

The victim, a 52-year-old man, was on board an MTA BX10 bus when the unknown individual removed a pair of headphones from the victim’s head and fled the scene upon the bus stopping at West 235 Street and Henry Hudson Parkway. The victim did not sustain injuries during this incident.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, of light complexion and medium build, with black hair and facial hair.

At the time of the incident, he was seen donning a blue suit jacket, a white t-shirt, blue suit pants, and brown dress shoes. The individual was last seen in the media captured from the MTA bus.
