Philadelphia Carjacking Captured on Video Cameras, Police Seek Suspects

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Wednesday, a car-jacking event ended fatally with the shooting of a 50-year-old male victim. The incident, as recorded by surveillance cameras, occurred at about 10:47 PM in the 1100 block of Porter Street.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently seeking to identify the suspects captured in the video footage.

Three black males are the primary suspects, as seen operating a red Kia Soul with an unknown New Jersey license plate at the time of the incident.

Philadelphia is now offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in relation to this case.

Citizens are advised not to approach the suspects if sighted but to immediately contact 911. Anyone with further information is asked to dial 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to the same number.
