Suspect Arrested After Pushing Woman Out of Car

FORKS TOWNSHIP, PA – On Thursday, at approximately 6:51 pm, Forks Township police officers responded to reports of an assault near the intersection of Appian Way and Newlins Road West.

The female victim reported that the driver of a champagne-colored Lexus sedan assaulted her and then forcefully ejected her from the moving vehicle.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers identified the suspect as Michael Denardo, who was later apprehended during a traffic stop on Newlins Road West. Denardo has since been transported to Northampton County Prison.

Denardo faces charges of Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. His trial is pending.
