Unruly Mob Attacks Car, Shoots at Police During Street Takeover in Columbus

Columbus, OH – Felony Assault detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying individuals involved in a car damage incident that occurred during a street takeover event in April.

In addition to the car damage, shots were fired toward Columbus Police officers who responded to disperse the crowd in the vicinity of Indianola Ave.

The incident unfolded when the driver attempted to navigate through the area.

Multiple individuals in the crowd jumped on the vehicle, resulting in the windshield being smashed and significant damage inflicted upon the car. To aid in their investigation, detectives are releasing video footage and photos capturing the events.
