One Killed in Greensboro Shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred Sunday morning, leaving a man dead.

Police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Hideaway Court around 4:27 a.m. on Sunday, following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have identified the victim as Uriel Jiminez, 49. The shooting is currently being treated as a homicide. At this time, there is no suspect information available, and the investigation is ongoing.
