Cambridge Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Gas Station

CAMBRIDGE, MD – The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) is calling for public assistance following an armed robbery at the Exxon located at 324 Sunburst Highway. The incident occurred on Sunday, around 11:29 pm.

A male suspect entered the establishment, approached the counter, and pointed a handgun at the store employee demanding money.

The employee complied, giving an undisclosed amount of United States Currency (USC) to the suspect.

The suspect, described as an African American Male, was seen wearing a black shorts, black long-sleeve shirt, red face mask, red gloves, black shoes and a dark colored baseball hat.

He was seen fleeing on a light-colored Beach Cruiser style bicycle. CPD asked anyone with any information leading to information regarding this incident to contact the CPD Criminal Investigation Division.
