NYPD Seeking Suspects Wanted for LGBTQ Hate Crime Driven Attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is calling on the public for assistance in identifying two individuals associated with a robbery incident.

The robbery reportedly took place on Sunday, around 03:00 AM. A 49-year-old male was walking in front of 427 West 154 Street when he was approached by two unidentified individuals.

The duo attacked the victim, punching him several times on his head and body, making anti LGBTQIA+ comments.

Subsequently, the assailants seized the victim’s cellphone and wallet, which contained approximately $200 and a credit card, before fleeing the scene on foot.

The direction of their escape is unknown. The victim sought medical help privately following the incident.
